Rooms are typically Scandinavian in design with warm colours and the use of oiled wood. They are all well appointed and medium in good size. Bathrooms are in good condition. A traditional log cabin feel in the restaurant, courtesy of the solid wood timbers provides for a cosy and relaxing environment in which to enjoy the hearty Scandinavian buffet breakfast. During the evenings a buffet containing home-made dishes and local specialities can be purchased, before retiring in front of the open fire in the adjoining wolf room Although the hotel is a mid 20th Century modern constructuion of brick it offers features and an air of tradition typical of a classic Swedish alpine hotel. A medium sized lobby greets the guest in true Alpine style. This is a great ski hotel, ideally located for the excellent skiing found in the Southern Are alps. There are now 10 lifts & over 22 slopes as well as 12 miles of long distance tracks in the forest, 6 miles of which are tended to daily surrounding the hotel. With only 40 rooms the hotel is very personal and winter sports orientated. It has no less than 4 saunas, a fitness area with Jacuzzi, play & TV room for the kids and sunbeds. (07/07 KM)
